A greener cycling event
As two thirds of the resort lay within protected nature reserves, Val d’Isère is forced to respect the environment. The Vanoise National Park, the Baillettaz Nature reserve and the neighbouring exceptional zones all motivate Val d’Isère’s decision makers to promote biodiversity and to protect all the species within. Val d’Isère has thus decided to devote itself on a long term basis to limiting the impact of its activities on the natural environment
