Alpine Skiing World Cup
December 12-13, 2026
The Critérium de la Première Neige marks the opening of the Alpine Skiing World Cup in France. In 2025, see you on December 13-14 for the men’s races and December 20-21 for the women’s races, for a weekend of sport, excellence and sharing.
Trail Event
July 11-12, 2026
The High Trail Vanoise is a trail event held every year in Savoie’s Vanoise National Park. It offers a range of courses to suit all levels, from technical challenges to solidarity races. Participants can tackle distances ranging from 8 to over 60 km, with impressive vertical drops.
Ski touring race/outing
January 8 & 22 / February 5 / March 19, 2026
The Avaline Trax is a ski touring race held during the winter season in Val d’Isère. Participants, solo or duo, set off from La Daille for an ascent to La Folie Douce. The timed or untimed event is open to all levels, with rewards offered by partners Dynastar and Millet.
FIS Alpine Ski Race U14-U16
March 31 to April 3, 2026
The Scara is an international alpine skiing competition for U14 and U16 skiers, often compared to a Youth World Cup. Every year in Val d’Isère, it brings together some 1,500 future champions in a friendly, competitive atmosphere. It’s a not-to-be-missed event for the world’s young ski talents.
Cycling race/outing

The Iserane is a cycling event that allows participants to climb the Col de l’Iseran, Europe’s highest road pass at 2770 m altitude. Every year, the D902 road between Val d’Isère and Bonneval-sur-Arc is closed to motorized vehicles to reserve the climb for cyclists. This legendary pass, crossed by the Tour de France and offering exceptional panoramic views, attracts cyclists of all levels.
