Practical information
Level groups are organized according to the children’s motivations These are supervised by Club des Sports coaches. The section is open to children from Val d’Isèreelementary school and Bourg-Saint-Maurice secondary school.
Ski sessions run from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 16:30 for all groups.
How it works
To offer all children in Val d’Isère a supervised ski season: 1 week per vacation period and 14 weekends. For further information or registration, please contact Lionel Fayolle: l.fayolle@valsport.org
Discovery
Discovering the terrain, the effort, the cold, the equipment, the basics, sliding, positioning… Above all, it’s all about conviviality and the pleasure of sliding!
PROGRESSION
First technical courses, discovery of specific features, placement, commitment, driving and speed, equipment… Encourage initiative and creativity!
PRE-COMPETITION
First evolution on the course, preparation for competition and first tests, introduction to the club’s ski racing section.
COMPETITION
Specific training for the Bronze and Silver Cups. Goal: return to ski racing.
