An idyllic setting that has hosted the French national rugby team three times for World Cup preparations in 1999, 2003, and 2007, as well as numerous Top 14 teams (Brive, Montpellier, Castres…).

Moments of camaraderie, but also true battles of titans, especially during the two annual memorials held each summer in tribute to departed friends. These events give the Avalins the chance to showcase their talent and spirit against visiting teams: the Charet Boys, coming straight from the neighboring department of Isère for the Lacoque Memorial in July, and the Tignards from the team “100 Fous du Score” during the Grosset Memorial in August.

When not hosting at home, the Avalins even travel across the Channel to meet the Barbarians, a cheerful group of Scots whose only barbarity is in name.
