ISERANE
On June 22, 2025, challenge yourself on the highest paved pass in Europe, at 2,770 m! Every year, for the Iserane, the climb of the Col de l’Iseran is reserved for cyclists. On this occasion, the D902 road is closed from Val d’Isère to Bonneval-sur-Arc.
Since 1937, this road connecting Maurienne and Tarentaise has hosted several stages of the Tour de France, as well as countless cyclists, motorcyclists, and drivers… The Col de l’Iseran is a must on the Route des Grandes Alpes, with its 360° panorama and the Franco-Italian summit of Tsanteleina in the foreground.
Practical information about the Iserane will be available very soon. Stay tuned to learn more!

TRAFFIC RULES
The Iserane takes place on a closed road reserved for non-motorized two-wheelers (RD 902). Participants must strictly follow the traffic rules: keep to the right side of the road; for the descent toward Bonneval and the return to Val d’Isère, control your speed and stay in full control of your trajectory. Wearing a helmet (must be a certified hard-shell model) is mandatory throughout the event. Follow vehicles are not allowed. Bicycles must be powered solely by human effort. In the case of electric-assist bicycles, they must comply with the standards set by the FFC and FFM—see Article 8 for details.
INSURANCE
Each participant must have insurance (accident and liability coverage). Equipment damage insurance is recommended.
EQUIPMENT
Each participant certifies that the bicycles used in this event are either “classic” bikes or electric-assist bicycles(pedelecs) as defined by Directive 2002/24/EC of March 18, 2002, which sets the conditions for an electric-assist bike (E-bike) to be considered a bicycle rather than a moped:
1. The motor only operates when pedaling and must stop as soon as pedaling stops. A pedal sensor is therefore mandatory.
2. Electric assistance must cut off at 25 km/h, although the bike can go faster without motor assistance.
3. The nominal motor power must not exceed 250 watts.
4. The motor must stop as soon as any brake is applied.
RULES
Participation in the Iserane implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules. Any decision by the organizers is final. Any disputes that may arise will be settled by the organizers.
