children
Practical Information
Groups are organized by skill level according to the children’s motivations and are supervised by the coaches of the Sports Club. The section is open to children from Val d’Isère primary school as well as those attending the middle school in Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
Ski sessions take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM for all groups.
Operation
Offer all children in Val d’Isère a supervised ski season: 1 week during each school holiday period and 14 weekends. For any information or registration requests, please contact Lionel Fayolle at: l.fayolle@valsport.org
Discovery
Discovering the terrain, exertion, the cold, equipment, the basics, gliding, and positioning… Above all, it’s about camaraderie and the joy of skiing!
Progression
First technical courses, exploring the specifics, positioning, commitment, control and speed, equipment… Encouraging initiative and creativity!
Pre-Competition
First progression on courses, preparation for competition, and initial tests, with introduction to the club’s ski competition section.
Competition
Specific training for the Bronze Cup and Silver Cup. Goal: to rejoin the club’s ski competition section.
