Ingrid Jacquemot was born on the 23 september 1978 in Bourg saint Maurice and spent all her childhood in Val D’Isère. She was a French champion in all disciplines. In 2011 , aged 32 she decided to stop her career, after being 6 times on the podium of a world cup race, and a victory in downhill.
