For six years, the Altigliss Association and Val d’Isère have organized the GEM Altigliss Challenge, a week of inter-university competition focused on three challenges: Ski, Mountain and Village. So sports, but also the party and many meetings, in a spirit of student world cup.
Elected first association of France in 2014, Altigliss has, over the years, made a commitment to sport for all, notably by raising the awareness of its disabled athletes participants with the creation of a dedicated trophy which has met with great success on the edition 2015.
Among the valid teams, two teams handisports participated in the events accompanied by two associations: EASI and the FEDEEH (one promoting the accessibility of sport for and the other favoring the integration of people with disabilities in life every day as in professional life) under the watchful eye of the Paralympic champion Marie Bochet, exceptional godmother of this XVI edition. For the coming years, Altigliss has set itself the goal of transforming the GEM Altigliss Challenge into a handi-valid challenge.
It is also important for the association to make participants aware of the importance of respecting the environment. On the Altigliss Village, everything is done to preserve it and the “Sustainable Development” Trophy was one of the novelties of last year. True to its commitment, Atligliss has obtained the label “followed by Ecofest”.
A responsible event that we invite you to discover for its 19th edition from March 19 to 24, 2018.
The number: 57, is the number of teams registered in the GEM Altigliss Challenge, from 45 schools and more than 25 different nationalities for 1000 participants.
